What happens to the address
The list is run on Buttondown, which stores the address and handles delivery. It is used to send those two emails and nothing else. Every email carries an unsubscribe link that works in one click, handled by Buttondown without going through the author. Unsubscribing deletes the address from the list. No reason is asked for, and nothing is sent afterwards.
